| 英文描述 | This is a nonspecific abnormality of the lymphatics that results in their dilatation. A congenital form is due to insufficient numbers of lymphatics, while the acquired form is due to development of obstructing granulomatous lesions or venous hypertension. Dx is based on gastric or small intestinal biopsy and rule-out of other causes. Panhypoproteinemia, steatorrhea and abnormal fat absorption, hypocholesterolemia, lymphopenia, and hypocalcemia are common, and this is one of the most common causes of protein-losing enteropathy. Hypocalcemic tetany has been reported. Pleural effusion may occur. |
