| 英文描述 | A syndrome of bilateral depigmentation may affect the iris, nose, lids, lips, mouth, foot pads, and anus. There is associated uveitis, and animals may present with acute blindness. Has been reported in several breeds of dogs. This is believed to be due to an autoimmune attack on melanin-containing body tissues. Skin histology shows an interface dermatitis with a predominantly lichenoid pattern. Slow repigmentation of the skin may occur. |
