| 英文描述 | A rare disorder of tyrosine metabolism has been reported in a dog. Clinically resembles Richner-Hanhart's syndrome of man. Characterized by eye and skin lesions, esp. nose and footpad ulceration that may cause loss of nails and lameness. Dx by determining tyrosine levels in serum, which may be 20-30 times greater than the 10-110 nmoles/ml considered normal. Urine tyrosine levels are also elevated. A diet low in tyrosine and phenylalinine may cause slight clinical improvement. |
