| 英文描述 | Vascular ectasia is characterized by dilated, thin-walled veins, venules and capillaries that are susceptible to trauma and rupture. Clinical signs depend on the location of the lesion. A dog developed persistent hematuria; ultrasonography indicated a blood clot in the bladder, and exploratory surgery revealed a small area of persistent hemorrhage of the bladder mucosa. The lesion was resected and was found to contain dilated blood vessels which allowed hemorrhage into the bladder. Dogs developed intermittent hemorrhage from the rectum; histologic examination of a biopsy sample from the rectum revealed ectasia. |
