| 中文描述 | 原發性退行性角膜內皮疾病會造成進行性、永久的、雙側性的角膜水腫。本疾病好發於吉娃娃、波士頓犭更。通常在五歲或年紀更大時開始出現症狀，角膜因為水腫使得眼睛看起來是藍色的。母狗較容易發生本疾病。剛開始時，症狀是暫時性的，但最後會蔓延到整個角膜。也可能會同時出現圓錐角膜。藉由眼科檢查、品種、與臨床症狀進行診斷。 |
| 英文描述 | A primary degenerative endothelial disease results in progressive, permanent, bilateral corneal edema. Chihuahuas and Boston Terriers are predisposed, and a listing of other predisposed breeds was given by Glaze. Onset is typically at 5 years or older, and presents clinically as corneal edema and 'blueing' of the eye. More common in females. Starts temporally, and progresses over the entire cornea. Keratoconus may be present. Dx by ocular exam, breed, signs. |
