| 英文描述 | Zinc toxicity has been reported in dogs in which objects made of zinc were recovered from the stomach. Ingestion of a zinc based cream has also caused toxicosis. It is postulated that gastric acid may corrode the objects to result in solubilized zinc. Dx requires demonstration of excess zinc in tissues. Acute renal failure due to tubular necrosis may occur. The acute hemolytic anemia present can lead to a misdiagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia. |
