| 英文描述 | Lithium toxicity was reported in 2 dogs whose sole source of drinking water had been a swimming pool filled with lithium hypochlorite chlorinated water. Both dogs had consistently low urine specific gravity. Serum lithium levels, determined using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer, were elevated when compared to control dogs. Treatment consisted of supportive care and a change to fresh drinking water; both animals recovered. |
