| 英文描述 | Myelinolysis is damage to the myelin sheaths and oligodenrocytes caused by sudden osmotic gradients, usually due to rapid correction of chronic hyponatremia. Affected animals develop neurologic signs, with can occur several days after the correction of the hyponatremia. Dx by histology or brain imaging. Affected animals can recover. |
