| 英文描述 | Primary acanthosis nigricans occurs almost exclusively in daschunds. Etiology is unknown. There is thickening of the epidermis, with hyperpigmentation, particularly of the body folds. Lesions start in the axilla, and may spread to the chest, abdomen, flanks, and inguinal region. Might have a hereditary basis. Also occurs secondary to other diseases (i.e. endocrinopathies, hypersensitivities, friction-obesity). Dx by signs, response to treatment. Secondary pyoderma with pruritus can occur. |
