| 英文描述 | In lipoid pneumonia there is fat accumulation in the cytoplasm of alveolar macrophages; clinical signs resemble those of more common types of pneumonia. This disease was reported in a dog; diagnosis was confirmed by biopsy of resected lung tissue and detection of fat-containing vacuoles in macrophages obtained by bronchoalveolar lavage. Removal of the affected lung lobes was followed by recovery (Corcoran et al.). |
