| 英文描述 | Pseudotumors are lesions which mimic neoplasia but are inflammatory in orgin. This term is used to describe a tumor-like growth that is most common in Collie and Collie-cross breeds. It usually presents as a bilateral, soft, flesh- colored mass involving the cornea and/or the nictitating membrane. On histo- pathology, the cellular component consists of lymphoid and plasma cells, PMN's, immature fibroblast cells, and histiocytes, and appears as benign hyperplasia. Dx by histopathology. Retrobulbar pseudotumor has been described in cats. Conjunctival pseudotumors have been reported in horses; they were nodular or relatively flat and diffuse. |
