| 英文描述 | Colorectal polyps are rarely diagnosed in the dog. Prolapse of the polyp through the anus following defecation often precedes diagnosis. Histologic classification included hyperplastic polyp, and papillary, tubular, or papillotubular adenoma. May represent premalignant lesions. Dx by proctoscopy, digital exam and histopathology. Malignant potential and polyp size might correlate. Polyps can also occur in horses in rare cases. |
