| 英文描述 | A 3-year-old horse was described which had a generalized progressive seizure disorder. At necropsy there was a cerebral leptomeningeal vascular malformation (hemangiomatosis), with redundant, mature vasculature in combination with evidence of cerebrocortical dysplastic changes. There was no significant inflammatory or healing process, and a diagnosis was made of meningocerebral hemangiomatosis, resembling Sturge-Weber disease of man. The horse was normal during the interictal period, and blood chemistry and cerebrospinal fluid analysis were normal. A similar lesion has been seen in dogs with histories of neurologic signs over a 1 month to 2 1/2 year period. Dx at necropsy. |
