| 英文描述 | Rare. Synovial sarcoma is a malignant tumor of mesenchymal origin, often found near a joint. It is the most common primary joint tumor in animals. Metastasis is common. Spindle cell component or epithelioid component may predominate in individual tumors. Dx based on signs, radiology, and histology. May recur following local excision or amputation. Usually found in older animals at a major limb joint such as the elbow or stifle. Giant cell tumors have affected the carpus. |
