| 英文描述 | A hernia through any part of the abdominal wall other than the umbilicus or inguinal canal. Contents may be intestine, omentum, uterus, bladder or rumen. Dx by palpation of the hernial sac. Usually due to trauma or following an incision. This has been seen in association with other defects in a litter of Cocker Spaniel pups. Entrapment of abdominal content in the hernia can lead to pain and serious complications. |
