| 中文描述 | 西部高地白（梗）犬及其他品種（梗）犬的慢性肺病，發生在中年 (九歲) 的成犬。X光主要可以發現支氣管、肺部有很多空隙，通常會出現肺原性心臟病。在組織病理學檢查感染的動物發現，肺泡隔膜有纖維化的現象，這和X光片發現有空隙的肺部嫌為化吻合，但是導致的原因仍不明。相同的綜合症可能發生在其他梗類犬隻。 |

| 英文描述 | A series of West Highland White Terriers developed progressive respiratory disease; median age at the time of presentation was 9 years. The main radiographic findings were interstitial markings, with bronchial markings in many cases as well; cor pulmonale was often present. Histopathological examination of some affected animals showed alveolar septal fibrosis; this condition appears to be associated with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis of unknown cause. A similar syndrome might affect other terrier breeds. |
