| 英文描述 | At a few weeks to a few months of age, West Highland white terriers might develop a dermatosis. It starts with erythema and pruritus, especially of the feet, legs, and ventrum. Over time it progresses in most cases to a severe dermatosis. On histology there are hyperplastic perivascular dermatitis and epidermal dysplasia. This condition is associated with MALASSEZIA infection, and might be a congenital keratinization disorder, an inflammatory or hypersensitivity reaction to MALASSEZIA, or a result of excessive self trauma. |
