| 英文描述 | A mature dog developed idiopathic wasting disease and secondary infections. Hematologic and immunologic abnormalities included anemia, leukopenia, thrombcytopenia, decreased humoral immunity, and ineffective T-cell responses in vitro. At necropsy there was evidence of immunosupression due to lymphoid cell depletion. A retrovirus-like agent was isolated from the dog. The precise identity of this retrovirus-like agent and its pathogenicity in experimental infection have not been determined. |
