| 英文描述 | Members of the BUNYAVIRUS genus of arboviruses have been associated with encephalitis in horses. Viruses of the California serogroup were isolated from horses in Canada, and Cache Valley virus and Main Drain viruses of the Bunyamwera serogroup have been isolated in the United States. Overall importance of these agents in equine encephalitis is unknown, but they my be considered in the differential diagnosis of encephalitis in horses. The BUNYAVIRUS, LaCrosse virus, has been indentified in dogs with meningoencephalomyelitis (Tatum et al.). |
