| 英文描述 | This is a condition in growing male turkeys, especially heavy ones. It is associated with diets high in proteins and fat and with diethylstilbestrol. Characterized by rupture of the abdominal aorta, sudden death, blood in the crop, mouth, and lungs. The aorta often has a longitudinal split between the external iliac and the sciatic arteries. Aortic dissection has been reported in ostriches. |
