| 英文描述 | Turkeys can develop a cardiomyopathy characterized by bilateral ventricular dilatation and hypertrophy, leading to heart failure; this syndrome is known as 'round heart disease'. It can occur spontaneously or be induced by administration of furazolidone (Julian et al.). The majority of affected poults are toms and die between 2 and 10 weeks of age. Dx at necropsy. |
