| 英文描述 | Described in turkeys in England (Barnett et al., 1971). Possibly caused by long periods of exposure to artificial light in early life (Lauber and McGinnis, 1966). The eye becomes heavier and larger than normal; the choroid is thickened, possibly fibrotic, edematous, and shows cellular infiltration; the retina is often detached and fused to a scarred pecten; ossifying cartilage may be present. The cornea is very flattened, the anterior chamber shallow with a reduced angle of filtration. The posterior aspect of the eye is domed. |
