| 英文描述 | An acute enteritis of guinea polt flocks of unknown cause has been called 'fulminating disease.' Reached epizootic levels in southwestern France in 1986, and birds were affected from a few days of age to the time of slaughter at 12 weeks of age. At necropsy there were loss of intestinal tone, distended ceca with yellow foamy material, severe fluid diarrhea, necrosis of the pancreas, distended gall bladders and swollen kidneys (Brahem et al.). Can be transmitted by inoculation with an intestinal filtrate from affected birds, and a Togavirus-like agent has been associated with the disease (Brahem et al.). There is neither treatment nor a vaccine. |
