| 英文描述 | Egg drop syndrome of laying hens is characterized by either failure to reach peak egg production or a drop in egg production accompanied by the production of pale, soft shelled and shell-less eggs. It is caused by egg drop syndrome virus, an ADENOVIRUS which is serologically distinct from other fowl adenoviruses. The reproductive tract is the most important source of virus for lateral spread in the laying hen. |
