| 英文描述 | Infectious Bronchitis is an acute and highly contagious coronaviral respiratory disease characterized by gasping in young chickens and by a sharp drop in egg production in layers. 100% of the flock may be infected. The mortality is zero in uncomplicated cases in adults but can be high in chicks less than 6 weeks old. IB is of economic importance to the poultry industry due to loss in egg production and poor quality of eggs. Lesions in young chickens are conjunctivitis followed by nasal discharge and caseous exudates in the trachea, bronchi, lungs, and air sacs. Congestion of the vessels of the viscera is the main lesion of other organs. Nephrogenic strains of infectious bronchitis virus can cause renal disease and increased mortality. This disease has also been reported in racing pigeons. |
