| 英文描述 | Ethoxyquin (1,2-dihydro-6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline) is an antioxidant used in the feed industry. Up to 150 mg ethoxyquin/kg feed is approved by the U.S. FDA (Leong and Brown). A sudden increase in broiler mortality was associated with accidental feeding of very high levels of ethoxyquin and signs were experimentally reproduced (Leong and Brown). Dx by analysis of the feed and finding lesions consistent with a nephrotoxin and hepatotoxin. |
