| 英文描述 | Avian infectious anemia is caused by chicken anemia virus (CAV), a CIRCOVIRUS (Studdert) associated with marked anemia, aplasia of the bone marrow, and atrophy of the lymphoid organs during the peak of infection; there is increased mortality in experimentally infected chicks. Field outbreaks characterized by panmyelopthy, anemia, hemorrhagic diathesis and dermatitis especially in broiler chicks. Subclinical infection can decrease broiler performance and profitability. Diagnosis by serology. Inoculation of susceptible chicks produces characteristic lesions; swelling and intranuclear inclusion bodies in the hemopoietic cells, thymocytes, and the reticular cells of the thymus. |
