| 英文描述 | Megabacteriosis is an inflammatory disease of the proventriculus which is associated with a species of very large bacteria which as not yet been isolated using usual bacteriologic techniques. Appears to be of increasing prevalence, particularly among budgerigars and ostriches. Age at onset of disease varies from a few weeks to several years. There can be sudden death or progressive disease over several months. |
