Although uncommon they have been associated with several diseases (Hacker and Shifrin) and a syndrome of cataracts and crooked toes appeared to be inherited in Brahma chckens (Chmielewski et al.). An outbreak of idiopathic cataracts was reported in broiler breeders (Landman and Dwars). |
