| 英文描述 | This respiratory disease affects domestic poultry, wild birds and zoo birds. It is probably the most common systemic mycosis of birds. Lesions may be found in the viscera, liver, eye, and brain. ASPERGILLUS FLAVUS and A. FUMIGATUS are the primary causative agents, A. GLAUCUS and A. NIGER may also be involved. Outbreaks can results from wet stale food and from wet litter, and are common in young chicks especially during first 3 to 4 weeks of age. Mortality ranges from 10 to 50%. Lesions vary considerably but commonly take the form of pin-head to large caseous nodules in the lungs or viscera. In older birds plaque-like caseous lesions may be seen in the air sacs. |
