| 英文描述 | Hemorrhagic enteritis is an acute adenoviral disease of turkey poults, usually 7-9 weeks of age, although younger birds have been affected. Lesions primarily in the duodenum and small intestine; in severe cases the intestine is distended with blood stained mucus. Liver, kidneys, and spleen are swollen and sometimes hemorrhagic on the surface. No effective treatment, but a vaccine is available. A similar syndrome in adult psittacine birds and in long-tailed ducks has also been associated with an adenovirus. Pigeons less than 1 year old can develop enteritis caused by adenovirus. |
