| 英文描述 | Zinc is required by birds for skeletal growth and development, epithelial tissue formation and maintenance, and egg production. Young chickens and turkeys suffering from zinc deficiency show skeletal abnormalities resulting in leg weakness and ataxia. Joints are enlarged and rigid, long bones are shortened and thickened, sometimes crooked. A necrotic dermatitis appears primarily on the legs and feet, and a hyperkeratinization of the epidermis impairs feather development. Embryos severely deficient may suffer complete absence of limbs. |
