Caused by RIEMERELLA ANATIPESTIFER, which causes fibrinous pericarditis, fibrinous perihepatitis, air saculitis, salpingitis, and arthritis. There are several serotypes of the organism. Diagnosis is by history, lesions, and isolation of the organism. |
