| 中文描述 | 小雞腸道中的厭氧性腸道螺旋體會引發腸炎。組織病理學檢查也常常發現病患有盲腸炎。螺旋體感染會造成肉雞與蛋雞的產能下降。診斷方式以細菌培養為主。目前無有效治療方式。螺旋體也會引起三趾鴕鳥(美洲鴕鳥)發生壞死性盲腸炎。 |

| 英文描述 | The presence of BRACHYSPIRA PILOSICOLI in the intestinal tract of chickens has been associated with enteritis. Typhlitis is a common histopatholgical finding. Decreased productivity in laying hens and broilers has been associated with spirochete infection. Dx by culture. Treatment was not described. Spirochetes were also associated with necrotizing typhlocolitis in Rheas (RHEA AMERICANA). |
