| 英文描述 | The disease has a long incubation period and protracted course leading to high culling rate and egg losses. The disease is caused by MYCOBACTERIUM AVIUM in most cases; M. TUBERCULOSIS and M. GENAVENSE have also caused disease in caged birds. Lesions are characterized by tubercular granuloma, greyish-white nodules of various sizes in the liver, kidneys, intestinal tract, eye, bone marrow, spleen, and lungs. If the long bones are opened the nodules may be seen. |
