| 中文描述 | 年輕鴨的高度致死及病毒傳染性疾病,其特色為潛伏期短'高死亡率.傳染途徑包括鴨與鴨之間或是環境至鴨.在欄畜的鴨當中傳播很快;病毒可藉由糞便排出.除了雞'火雞之外,大部分的禽類皆可被感染.損傷為腫大有斑點的肝'脾腎腫大.發病率為100%,但死亡率很不一定.小於一週齡的雛鳥,死亡率可高達95%,1-3週齡死亡率為50%或以下,4週齡以上死亡率幾乎可忽略.診斷為病史'病症'以及直接FA test.可注入抗血清使得免疫力.預防是藉由預防接種以及得病動物的隔離,特別是在4-5週大時. |

| 英文描述 | A highly fatal and contagious viral disease in young ducklings characterized by a short incubation period and high mortality. Transmitted from duckling to duckling and from infected environment to duckling. Spreads rapidly within the pen; the virus is excreted in feces. Most poultry species other than chickens and turkeys can be infected. Lesions are swollen mottled liver, enlargement of spleen or kidney, or both. Morbidity is 100%, while mortality is variable. In broods less than 1 wk old mortality can be 95%, 1-3 wks old mortality is 50% or less, and more than 4 wks old mortality is negligible. Diagnosis is by history, pattern of disease, and direct FA techniques. Can be treated by antiserum injection from immune ducks. Prevent by vaccination and by strict isolation, especially during the first 4-5 wks. |
