| 中文描述 | 上皮發生不全是一種部分區域的皮膚未正常發育的先天性疾病。區乏皮膚的部分只見光亮濕潤的軟組織表面。依據臨床症狀做診斷。此疾病可能與其他移傳缺陷(如牛的短頷症候群)有關，口腔內的上皮組織也可能會受到影響。報告指出，馬、牛、綿羊、山羊、豬、狗與貓都會發生此遺傳疾病。在組織學上，病患的皮膚層完全缺損，包含表皮、毛囊、腺體等結構皆不存在。無法治療。 |
| 英文描述 | Epitheliogenesis imperfecta is the congenital absence of sections of skin. The absent skin leaves a glistening moist surface. Dx by signs. May be associated with other defects, such as brachygnathia in cattle, and the epithelium of the oral cavity may be affected. This was reported to be hereditary in horse, cattle, sheep, swine, dogs, and cats. On histology there is complete absence of epidermis, hair follicles, and glands. There is no treatment. |
