| 英文描述 | Facultative myiasis is the infestation of tissue by fly larvae (maggots) that are not obligatory tissue parasites. Such flies are typically from the MUSCA, CALLIPHORA, PHAENICIA, LUCILIA, PHORMIA, and SARCOPHAGA genera. Calliphorine (blowfly) myiasis is especially important in sheep, a disease called sheep strike. Diagnose by identification of maggots in wounds. Must be differentiated from screwworms in areas at risk from screwworm infestation. |
