| 英文描述 | In surveys of neonatal lamb losses in Britain, 1-8% of necropsies showed liver rupture. The site of the rupture is almost always on the anterior surface of the liver, and more frequently on the dorsal part near the hilus. Affected lambs can be dead at birth or die at less than 1 month of age (Green et al.). The cause of this syndrome is not clear (Green and Morgan). At necropsy there is a tear in the surface of the liver with clotted or unclotted free blood in the abdominal cavity. There is no treatment. |
