| 英文描述 | Although slaughterhouse surveys report that ovarian tumors can occasionally be found, they are rarely diagnosed in the field. Granulosa and theca cell tumors seem to be most common. Metastases can occur. Usually only 1 ovary is involved. A cow may be pregnant despite the presence of a tumor. Dx by surgical removal or necropsy. Ovarian neoplasia appears to be rare in goats and sheep. Mammary development has been seen in heifers with ovarian tumors and virilism can occur in cows with chronic disease. Treat by surgical removal. |
