| 英文描述 | Several species of THEILERIA, a protozoan parasite of the red cell, can cause disease in cattle; T. HIRCI and T. OVIS cause malignant theileriosis of sheep and goats in Africa, Asia and southern Europe; T. LESTOQUARDI causes disease in sheep and gaots in the Mediterranean region and the Near and Middle East. There are also benign species. Spread by ticks. Dx by giemsa-stained lymph node aspirates or red cells. |
