| 中文描述 | 在英國有發現小綿羊致命的腎臟發育異常.很多從商業羊群來的小羊都有出現早產,或是出生三天即死亡的現象.屍解之後發現其都有較小的腎臟,雖然在某些病例中腎臟是較大的.不論是較大或較小的腎臟在組織切片下都是發育異常的;在較小的腎臟裡有出現很多微小的囊腫,其再較大的腎臟出現液體堆積的現象.此現象是先天顯性的並且有完全的外顯率.並且可以追朔到單一的公羊.診斷藉由屍解. |

| 英文描述 | A fatal renal dysplasia was reported in lambs in Britain. Many lambs from a commercial flock were aborted, stillborn or died by 3 days of age. At necropsy there were usually grossly undersized kidneys, although in some cases the kidneys were large. Both the large and small kidneys had similar renal dysplastic features on histology; there were numerous microscopic cysts in the small kidneys, which had appeared to accumulate fluid in the large kidneys. The condition was inherited as a dominant trait with complete penetrance, and was traced to a single ram. Dx at necropsy. |
