| 英文描述 | Several species of the gram-negative bacterium SERRATIA, particularly SERRATIA MARCESCENS, are uncommon causes of mastitis in cows. Outbreaks due to contamination of teat dip, contaminated environment, and frostbite of the teat ends have been reported. Infection during the dry period can occur. Signs can vary from mild to severe; subclinical infection appears to be more frequent than clinical infection. In some cases there appears to be spontaneous regression. Serratia has been isolated from mastitis in goats. |
