| 英文描述 | Zearalenone is an estrogenic mycotoxin from FUSARIUM species. Experimental studies show that the ration must contain 50 mg of zearalenone per kg of feed, fed over an extended period of time, to cause infertility. The probability would be low that an entire herd could consume this much of the toxin, and zearalenone is not a major cause of bovine inferility. Dx requires identification of toxin, not just culture of organism. A similar syndrome is reported in sheep. |
