| 英文描述 | A viral disease of sheep caused by a virus similar to contagious ecthyma virus but antigenically distinct. Ulcers form on the face, feet, lips, legs and external genital organs. The eye can be affected in severe cases. Secondary bacterial infections attack the ulcers. Can affect all ages of sheep. Dx requires histologic differentiation from contagious ecthyma. Secondary arthritis due to bacterial spread sometimes occurs. |
