| 英文描述 | Red clover (TIFOLIUM PRATENSE), Alfalfa (MEDICAGO SATIVA), and Subterranean clover (TRIFOLIUM SUBTERRANEUM) contain phyto-estrogenic substances which can lead to a temporary infertility in ewes grazing at the time of mating or a permanent infertility if there is a long history of grazing these pastures. Affected ewes will fail to cycle, and lambing is decreased. There is some evidence that this syndrome also occurs in cattle. Dx by pasture history and elimination of other causes of infertility. Enlarged teats and lactation have been reported in affected rams and wethers. |
