| 中文描述 | 症狀短暫但嚴重腹瀉,生長速率減嫚或體重減輕,且厭食可能和維生素B1過少有關.實驗性的不給維生素B1導致體重減輕,且綿羊糞便中含多量的維生素B和低體重增加率有關.此症候群曾在小羊,斷奶的綿羊,及牛有報告.確定的病例個體中沒有確立的病程,且診斷需藉由口頭或非口頭給予維生素B1的反應來判斷 |

| 英文描述 | Signs of transient but profuse scouring, reduced growth rates or weight loss, and anorexia have been associated with low level thiamine deficiency. Experimental thiamine deprivation causes weight loss, and high fecal thiaminase levels have been associated with low liveweight gain in sheep. This syndrome has been reported in lambs, weaner sheep, and cattle. There is at present no established procedure for identification of individual cases, and the diagnosis would be based on response to parenteral or oral (Thomas) treatment with thiamine. |
