| 英文描述 | ELAEOPHORA SCHNEIDERI, is an intra-arterial nematode that causes inflammation and ischemia of the head and limbs of sheep. The parasite is spread by horseflies. This is a minor problem but is occasionally seen in the western U.S., especially in high ranges. Lesions may be found in the skin, oral mucosa and eye. Dx by identification of the parasite in vessels at necropsy or on a biopsy. |
