| 英文描述 | A series of Merino sheep over 3 years of age developed progressive ataxia with preservation of strength. At necropsy there was an apparent primary loss of cerebellar Purkinje neurons, and glial cell accumulation. This may be an hereditary cerebellar abiotrophy in this breed. There is no treatment. A similar syndrome has been seen in lambs of the Corriedale, Charollais and other breeds (Milne and Schock). |
