| 英文描述 | The fern NOTHOLAENA SINUATA VAR. CRENATA is found in the southwestern U.S. and causes the disease called 'jimmies', with trembling and sudden death in sheep brought on by exercise. Cattle and goats are not as severely affected. Up to 10% of a flock can be affected. Some animals develop ataxia and tetraparesis. Deaths start in November and last until there is new grass in spring. |
